Confederation of Laboratories for Artificial Intelligence
CAIRNE (Confederation of Laboratories for Artificial Intelligence Research in Europe) is an international non-profit association (AISBL) founded in 2018 by the European AI community to strengthen Europe’s position in AI research, innovation, and deployment. Today, CAIRNE connects more than 500 research groups, institutes, companies, and organisations across 41 countries and promotes trustworthy and human-centred AI through community building, ecosystem coordination, dissemination, and policy engagement.
Partner’s role in the project
Leads liaison and ecosystem engagement activities, supporting alignment with EU-level AI initiatives and stakeholders. Contributes to dissemination, communication, stakeholder outreach, and ecosystem-building activities, ensuring visibility and uptake of KnoWare results across the European AI community.
